There are a few organizations in the next couple of months that will showcase art at the heart of conveying environmental awareness while also mixing in Filipino culture.

One of these is an exhibition called, “Gongs. Smoke. Blood. Earth” to be held in three galleries: Fredesvinda Almeda Consunji Gallery, Ambeth R Ocampo Gallery, Elizabeth Gokongwei Gallery, and Alicia P Lorenzo Gallery. They highlight the culture, history, and resilience of the Cordilleras and their art, from the Baguio Arts Guild in 1986 until the artists from today (Ateneo Art Gallery, 2025). They also celebrate “indo-genius”, as showcasing the indigenous people’s identity, and connect with the book Tiw-tiwong, which talks about the wide connection between indigenous life and art.

Meanwhile, another exhibition called “All Living Things are Breathing Now” by the Japanese duo, Kyun-Chome is already available for viewing at the UP Vargas Museum from June 27 to August 30, 2025 in collaboration with Japan Foundation Manila. The duo got inspired from the Fukushima disaster dating back in 2011, wherein their work reflects on how nature, humans, and non-humans are all the same, connected in a fragile cycle of survival (UP Vargas Museum, 2025).
